Fermented Rice Water

The Guinness Book of World Records has declared Huangluo village in China as “the world’s longest hair village” as its Yao women are known for their long, grey-less, shiny hair. These women use fermented rice water as shampoo. This natural shampoo is the secret of their shiny black and silky soft hair.
How It Works
Fermentation brings down the pH levels of the rice water and when you use it as a rinse, it restores and balances the pH of your hair. Also, during fermentation, a substance called ‘pitera’ forms in the rice water, and it is rich in vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and organic acids. Pitera is known to promote cell regeneration and keep your skin and hair healthy.
