Beans is one of my favourite foods to eat in any form; moimoi, (bean cake), porridge or mixed with other foods. Here is a simple recipe using boiled beans as part of the main ingredients
INGREDIENTS
- Bread Wrap
- 1/4 cup of plain boiled beans
- A handful of chopped onions
- Chopped seasoned fish ( I used ice fish as it popularity called in Nigeria)
- Mixed vegetable (I used lettuce, you can use any green vegetable of your choice)
- Spicy Sauce/ Dressing -( I had leftover stew in my fridge which I made into a dressing, I added coconut oil, pepper and chopped onions
To Grill- You will need a grill machine
INSTRUCTION
- Place your bread on a flat plate
- Add your first layer of mixed vegetables
- Layer on your onions, chopped fish and beans
- drizzle your sauce or dressing
- Fold and ensure that all corners of the wrap is secured
- Place the wrap in your grill machine (2-3 minutes in your grill
- Serve and Enjoy!!!
This is a simple recipe that can be eaten for breakfast, lunch or dinner
